NOODLES

Food is important and every effort you put in preparing it is equally important I decided to write the recipe for indomie Noodles and fried egg. Someone might be thinking; 'well, I can cook noodles with both eyes closed'. You might be used to cooking noodles the plain way but why not try to upgrade it a bit by adding just a few ingredients more.

Ingredients
Green peas
1 small Onion bulb
Basil
Olive oil or any type of vegetable oil available
1 green big bell pepper (green ata rodo)
70g indomie noodles × 2
1 egg
Salt
Seasoning Cube

Preparation
Rinse the basil and 2 tablespoons of green peas then set aside.
Rinse the big bell pepper and dice.
Slice half of the onion and mince the other half.
Break the egg in a bowl add a pinch of salt and seasoning to taste and whisk.

Procedure (Indomie noodles)

Boil 1½  glasses of water and empty the noodles in it. Simmer for 1-2 minutes and turn the noodles around.
Add the indomie noodles seasoning and chilli.
Divide the minced onion into two and add one half to the noodles.
Add the diced pepper and basil.
Stir then cover the pot and cook till the water dries up.

Procedure (Egg; Omelette)
Place a frying pan on the cooker
Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the frying pan
Saute the remaining minced onion in the frying pan
Pour the egg in and spread so it takes the shape of the frying pan
Let it cook on low heat for 2 minutes (do not stir)
Cover the frying pan
Using a flat spoon, flip the egg around so that the other side cooks
Remove egg from heat when it becomes a light shade of brown

Transfer your noodles into a plate and garnish with the sliced onion.
Serve noodles with omelette and any juice of your choice or water. After eating noodles this way I bet you will think twice before making noodles the plain way.
