Hi Readers. How have you all been? I appreciate the feedback I got from some of you, thanks for the encouragement. I also got some feedback regarding the comment box; some readers contacted me on their inability to post comments. I will like to state that this is a browser issue; I looked into this problem as soon as I got to know about it and I noticed that I could comment using internet explorer but I was unable to do that when I used Opera mini. A reader’s comment serves as a motivation to the writer, it serves as a platform for readers to connect and most importantly readers can only state opinions and suggestions via the comment box. Hence, I am looking into it so that all readers will be able to leave their comments irrespective of the browser in use. Again, I wish to thank you all.

Eid Mubarak to my fellow Muslims, I hope you all went for Eid and did you all give out Zakaat? As we bid Ramadan farewell, we shouldn’t all say farewell to reading the Quran, refraining from slandering, backbiting and vain talk, helping the needy, night prayers (Tahajuud), constant remembrance of Allah (Dhikr). We should all live Halal, talk Halal and eat Halal. Janaahtul Firdaus* is our goal; let’s work for it by praying our daily sallah on time, encouraging good and forbidding evil, helping out the needy, following the Sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammed (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM), taking the Quran as our guide.

Now that Ramadan is gone, we should all strive to fast for six days in the month of Shawwal. Our beloved prophet Muhammed (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM) said whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan then follows it with six fasting days in the month of Shawwal, that person will be rewarded as if they have fasted for a whole year”. Isn’t that amazing? We get rewarded for a year’s fasting; all we need do is add six days. Ma shaa Allah, Allah is merciful.

Remind your Muslim friends to add six days. The Prophet (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM) said the one who guides to what is good will get rewarded as if they have done that good”.

I wish you a fruitful and blessed Shawwal, As Sallam alaykum.

* Janaahtul Firdaus; this is the most beautiful, luxurious and fascinating place in all of janaah.

Did you know?

·       Allah chooses the last third of the night for His majestic descent saying ‘Who will call upon me so that I may answer Him? Who will seek my forgiveness so that I may forgive Him?’

·       Our beloved Prophet (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM) said ‘convey from me, even if it is a verse’
